2. What data is collected

When you accept the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect:

• Pages viewed and standard technical data (approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, referrer)
• Session duration and engagement time
• Which terminal commands you run (e.g. help, games snake), sent as a custom event so we can see which parts of the site and which mini-games are used most

Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_<container-id>) to distinguish visitors. These cookies are only set after you accept the cookie banner.

3. Legal basis and purpose

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the cookie banner. The data helps us understand how visitors use the site so it can be improved. You can use the site fully without accepting analytics cookies.

Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as a safeguard for such transfers.

Event-level analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for [retention period configured in the GA4 property, e.g. 14 months], after which it is automatically deleted. Cookies set by Google Analytics expire after up to 2 years unless removed earlier.
