Software & Cloud Engineer · Hannover, DE

Hi, I'm Alex.

I build software people actually use, and now I'm building products of my own.

Python developer and Azure cloud engineer. I've spent years shipping apps for clients, communities and myself. Now I'm turning that experience into SaaS products that do one job really well.

01Now building

Products I make, and stand behind.

After years of building for others, I'm building my own tools. Each one starts with a real problem I've seen up close.

E-invoicing

German e-invoices that pass validation the first time.

For freelancers and small businesses facing Germany's E-Rechnung mandate. Create XRechnung and ZUGFeRD invoices, check them against the official EN 16931 rules before they go out, and keep a tamper-evident record of every invoice you issue.

Group contributions

Shared costs, split fairly, with every cent on record.

For associations, tontines and mutual aid groups that still track contributions in a spreadsheet. Each member gets a wallet; when a cost comes up, it is split across active members in one step, shortfalls are flagged, and every movement lands in an auditable ledger.

02Story

The short version.

I'm Alex. Online you'll usually find me as Zaker. I'm a software and cloud engineer living in Hannover, Germany.

Most of my days are spent in Python and on Azure: designing backends, automating the boring parts, and making sure things keep running at 3 a.m. without anyone noticing.

Outside of work I build in the open. With OSS Cameroon I've worked on tools for the developer community, like Jobsika, where people share salaries anonymously. I also built Scoreboards, a live-score platform for Cameroonian football.

Away from the keyboard, I run. I started in 2020 and now I'm out three to five times a week. In April 2026 I finished my first marathon in my home city, in 3:43:55.

Now I'm taking the next step and building my own SaaS products: small, focused tools that solve one problem well, made with the care I'd want as a customer.

Take a break. Play one.

I build small games to learn new things, and they've always lived inside my terminal. Pick a cartridge and see if you can beat your own best score.
